Welcome to the Getting Cricky Blog hop where we are showcasing the first 6 sets in K Andrew's brand new line of sentiment stamps! Don't forget to join us for our live Ustream with the whole DT at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/gettingcricky at 6pm PST 7pm MST, 8pm CST, and 9pm EST!
If you came from Ericka's blog Cricut Love then you are in the right place! Welcome! If you are just joining me tonight, make sure to start with K Andrew's blog {HERE}.
Let me tell you a little bit about Kristal's stamps before we get to the projects. Each of Kristal's stamp sets benefits a charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to benefit the charity noted on the stamp set package. Kristal is donating to these charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), and Autism Research Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale to the charity noted; and over time beleives this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help!
K Andrew's stamps are all made and assembled here in the USA, which is very important to Kristal. This ensures all product materials are safe and that jobs are being provided and maintained here in America.
Tonight I want to show you the Food for Thoughts stamp set which benefits Kristal's signature charity Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children.
Here is a little bit of information about StoreFront Shelter:
StoreFront Shelter is so much more than just the little bit of information I have given you here. PLEASE go and checkout their website and see what ALL they do. Be warned some of the stories are sad, but they all have a happy ending because of StoreFront Shelter. It really is amazing what this organization does for kids! It has been a great inspiration to me to see how inspiring you to buy this particular stamp set will help these kids! Go here to see what they do! http://www.sdyouthservices.org/site/PageServer?pagename=storefront
Now on to the projects I've created for you guys :) I created several projects because I want to show you just how versatile this set is!
Project #1 was a fun little card I intend to send to my girlfriend this week.
For project #2 I made some fun tags to add to gift bags. I like to have some pre-made tags for all occasions made up for easy additions to packages.
Now for hanging in this long I have a giveaway if you are still reading :) If you comment on this post (#1), tell me what your favorite stamp set is (#2) what your favorite project along the hop has been (#3) and become one of my newest followers (#4) you will be entered to win your very own set of Food for Thoughts. This is only one chance to win you need to do all 4 things list above for your chance to win. I will announce the winner in my Simply Sunday Challenge post. So come back to see if you are my lucky person :)
