I'm alive...

No I haven't fallen off the scrap-earth. I've just been a little overwhelmed with the holidays and my computer blew up. I spent 80 minutes on the phone the other day with dell only to have my computer reset to factory settings (in case you are unfamilular with this process, that means I lost EVERYTHING!) I'm just sick about this because I had just taken all of my pictures off of my camera and had not had a chance to back them up yet ;( Lesson learned, I guess, make time to back them up! So I have spent the last few days trying to recoupe what was lost, all of the cut files I had downloaded for my design studio and all the blogs that I had saved to my favorites list. Unfortunately what really mattered most to me is lost forever, my pictures... sniffle, sniffle... I am hoping now that the holiday rush is over I can make up for some lost time. Stay tuned.

Bunco Center Piece

Sorry it took me so long to post this project! I really have no excuse other than I was just busy doing my thing... So I saw this on the cricut MB and just had to make one for the Bunco League that I sub for on Thursday's! (They asked if I would be part of the regular group for next year!! Yippie!!) My inspiration came from Renee (scrappingRT),the cut file for the die and words are from Jen C. and I'm sorry I can't find who created the martini glasses that are around the base but Thank You to all of these talented ladies! Sorry the pictures aren't the greatest.

This weekends accomplishments

So I finally made something post worthy this weekend! The first is a scraplift that I saw in the scrapbook store while in the dells. I Love this paper by scrapworks its all from their florabella collection!

The second project I finished was a gift bag for my Best Friend's present. This paper and the adhesive lace are all by K & Company and the flower is by spare parts. A little ink and some gems gave it just the bling it needed :)

The third and final project was an explosion box. I found the cut file on Bren's design blog http://www.brensdesigns.com/ . Thank You Brenda!! The awesome tutorial is on Anso's blog http://glitteradventure.blogspot.com/ . Thank You Anso!! I found the yummy papers in Wisconsin Dells. Hope you enjoyed looking!

Away on Mini-Vacation

My Son and I are with my husband in the Wisconsin Dells till Friday! We are staying at the Kahlihari Hotel and waterpark and what do we do? We hunt for scrapbook stores!! I have to take advantage of it now while he is young, I'm sure it won't be long and he will be complaining everytime we go into one. Our Hunt was sucessful, much to my husband's dismay! I was so jealous of the women in the back of the store cropping away:( But found some very yummy paper and a lot of inspiration! I can't wait to get home tomorrow and start playing. I should have some projects to post soon, I'm terribly sorry about the lack of pictures. Some of my most recent projects weren't worthy in my opinion... Check out the side of my blog and visit some of the VERY!! talented ladies I like to visit and PLEASE sign my guestbook at the bottom so I know who's lookin'!

Have a Wonderful weekend!

Good Cricut Deals

Sorry I have not posted this week! It has been a rather rough week with my son and teething :( I found some great deals on the baby cricut this week that I wanted to share with you.

Sams club has two packages; the first one comes with George, a duffle bag style tote, the tool kit a mat and a pack of paper all for $179. The other package includes all of this but has two other cartridges for $269.

Hobby Lobby has the baby cricut on sale for $159 this week as well.

I believe that Michaels has their cartridges on sale this week as well.

I'll try to accomplish something for you to see this week! Hope you all have a great weekend! Go Packers!

Baby Board book

Baby Book

I bought this plain board book back in march and was finally brave enough to attempt covering and completing it. I have to say I'm pretty proud :) I have been pretty busy over the past couple of days, my mom has been here and we have been crafting the days away. It was nice to have someone to talk to while I was crafting (someone who doesn't only respond with dadadada that is). While visiting and creating I also made a door sign for a friends little girl. I hope you enjoy my creations! Special thanks to Susan, the creator of the cut file used around the "N" on the door hanging.

Some card creations that I came up with over the past few weeks.

Busy at work

I've been busy crafting away today, I got my new cricut expression yesterday! God Bless the UPS man for delivering it before the weekend! I've been working on several projects today but haven't finished one of them. Hahaha, it always seems to go that way. I posted some slideshows of my craftroom and my family at the bottom of the blog, go check them out. I think I'm getting the hang of this whole blog thing (knock on wood). I'll post some projects when I finish them, which will hopefully be tonight. So till then, ttfn

New at this

Please bear with me!! I'm new at this... I want this to be a place where I can post my creative masterpieces and keep my family and friends informed. Give me a few days to post some of the things that I've been up to and I'll add some pics of my precious family too :) See you soon!
